Arsenal keeping close tabs on Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz with 2027 transfer possible

Arsenal’s perfect start to the season in all competitions was thwarted before the international break as they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion off the back of one of their most underwhelming performances lately.
While they have looked good otherwise, their offensive form remains a cause for concern with Mikel Arteta’s men bagging only eight goals in five Premier League fixtures so far with the attacking department having some room for improvement.
Given that Kai Havertz has been the striker over Viktor Gyokeres, a number nine’s purchase may be a matter of time but a left winger may also join soon with Christos Tzolis still inexperienced and not up to a title challenger’s standard.
Spanish source Fichajes has reported that Arsenal are eyeing a move for Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz, but face competition from Bayern Munich and Real Madrid for the Turkish international, who is worth £85 million.
Yildiz a brilliant signing for the Gunners
In recent months, Arsenal have been linked with a number of left wingers, most closely with Vinicius Junior. Though the Brazilian renewed his contract at Real Madrid eventually, his recent form means the Gunners would feel they did well by not signing him.
Kenan Yildiz, meanwhile, already has a contract at Juventus until June 2030 but with the Bianconeri not able to compete with Inter Milan and Napoli amongst others, while also missing out on Champions League football, he could look for a new challenge.
Yildiz is a terrific player, who would be worth the £85 million investment for Arsenal. His dribbling, particularly in one-on-one situations, dynamism up top, chance creation, playmaking and clinical shooting from range or closer to goal make him very lethal.
Following Gabriel Martinelli’s and Leandro Trossard’s departures, Arsenal need a player who can be more decisive down the left flank and Yildiz perfectly fits the bill. At 21, he is also a long-term option and his best form is still to come.
Arsenal can offer him a regular role at the club, unlike Real Madrid, who have Vinicius Junior on their left flank and Bayern Munich with Luis Diaz, so they will feel confident about trumping competition to secure Yildiz’s signing.
