Zubimendi replaces Guimaraes: Predicted Arsenal XI vs Leeds United

The Premier League returns after a three-week long international break and defending champions Arsenal get matchday six underway on Saturday at 12:30 local time as they host Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.
After falling to their first defeat of the season against Brighton & Hove Albion last month, the Gunners will look to bounce back and return to winning ways in front of their own supporters this weekend, before featuring in the Champions League.
Here is how their starting eleven versus Leeds is likely to look like.
Goalkeeper – David Raya is expected to retain his place in between the sticks for the home side.
Defenders – Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori were the right and left back, respectively, for Arsenal last weekend and are likely to keep their berths in the team as the full backs. Meanwhile, Ezri Konsa and Gabriel Magalhaes could round off an unchanged back four for Mikel Arteta’s side tomorrow.
Zubimendi starts ahead of Guimaraes
Midfielders – Declan Rice is expected to continue playing in the starting eleven having been in fine form this season after picking up where he left off in 2025/26. Bruno Guimaraes, however, might be handed a rest after travelling to Australia and India over the international break, so £51 million star Martin Zubimendi could feature in the double pivot for Arsenal.
Martin Odegaard, meanwhile, is expected to be the number 10 after playing superbly at the start of the season. Bukayo Saka and Christos Tzolis could also feature on the right and left wings, respectively, for the hosts
Forward – Viktor Gyokeres found the back of the net for Sweden in the international break but Kai Havertz could continue to be preferred over the former Sporting Lisbon hitman to lead Arsenal’s line versus Leeds United.
Here is how Mikel Arteta’s starting eleven is expected to look on paper.
