Dalot and Rashford return to line-up: Predicted Manchester United XI vs Atletico Madrid

Manchester United turn their attention to the Champions League as they take on Atletico Madrid at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano tomorrow evening at 20:00 UK time on matchday two of the league phase of the competition.
Though they overcame Sabah FK very comfortably on matchday one at Old Trafford, the Red Devils’ form since has been questionable. They are coming into the clash with Los Rojiblancos with no win in their last four matches.
Here is a look at the playing eleven Michael Carrick could employ for the European Cup outing.
Goalkeeper – Senne Lammens is Manchester United’s number one goalkeeper and will likely retain his place in the team against Atletico Madrid as well.
Defenders – Man Utd have been dealt a huge blow with the news that Luke Shaw has been ruled out of the game so there is a gap to fill at left-back. Leny Yoro played as the right back against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday and he’s expected to continue there freeing Diogo Dalot to deputise at left-back tomorrow.
Lisandro Martinez and Harry Maguire may round off an experience back four for the visitors tomorrow.
Rashford in as Amad drops out
Midfielders – Kobbie Mainoo has also not travelled to Madrid so he won’t be involved in arguably Manchester United’s most challenging Champions League game of the season.
Andrey Santos could be recalled to start alongside Youri Tielemans in the double pivot. Bruno Fernandes, despite his substandard form lately, is the favourite to play as the attacking midfielder and captain the side.
Amad Diallo might drop out of the side, so Bryan Mbeumo could play as the right winger, and with Matheus Cunha potentially playing higher up the pitch, Marcus Rashford may be deployed on the left side of offence for Man Utd.
Forward – Matheus Cunha is set to lead the line for the Red Devils against his former side, ahead of Benjamin Sesko.
Here is a look at Man United’s possible line-up on paper.
