Arsenal, Chelsea, United & Spurs Dealt Blow In Transfer Pursuits
Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is confident that he can retain the services of Wesley Sneijder, Maicon and Samuel Eto’o, denting the hopes of Arsenal, Chelsea Man Utd and Tottenham.
The 3 superstars have all been linked with a mega money move away from the Italian giants in recent weeks. Sneijder is wanted by both Chelsea and Manchester United and has been linked with a £35million switch to the Premiership.
Former Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o has already hinted at a move to the Premiership, with Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea monitoring the flamboyant forward.
Brazilian right back Maicon has been linked with former boss Jose Mourinho who has been linked with a swap deal with Spanish full back Sergio Ramos heading out of Real Madrid. But the Inter president was quick to play down any move for the trio.
“All I can say regarding the transfer rumours about Eto’o, Sneijder and Maicon is that I have spoken to them and they have all told me that they do not want to leave the club,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
