Manchester United legend Eric Cantona believes Wesley Sneijder is the right signing for Sir Alex Ferguson.
The charismatic Frenchman played over 180 games for the Premiership champions and has joined the chorus of praise for the Inter Milan ace as United’s interest in the midfielder intensifies ahead of the new season.
Sneijder’s £30million to Old Trafford has been well documented this summer and the former French forward sees similarities with the former Real Madrid midfielder.
“He is what Manchester United needs. There’s no-one like him right now,” said Cantona.
‘He’s strong. Sometimes he reminds me of myself.”
