Chelsea boss Andrea Villa-Boas claims the clubs doesn’t need to make any more signings this summer after completing a deal to sign Barcelona midfielder Romeu.
Chelsea boss Andrea Villa-Boas claims the clubs doesn’t need to make any more signings this summer.
The Blues have only brought in Belgian youngster Thibaut Courtois this summer, with Barcelona youngster Oriol Romeu set to join after he completes a medical.
Chelsea were expected to submit a third bid for Tottenham’s Luka Modric after the opening two offers were rejected for the North London club. However, Villa-Boas claims they will only dip into the market if the club suffer a severe injury of if a player decides to leave.
“Actually, I think we do not need more reinforcements.
“We will only go into the transfer market again if we suffer injured players at the club or someone leaves,” said AVB.
