Sneijder Is Saying “He Will End Up At United”
Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder wants to move to Old Trafford when the transfer window reopens in January
Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder wants to move to Old Trafford when the transfer window reopens in January.
The Sunday Mirror says United pulled out of a deal for the Dutch international midfielder over personal demands. The Premier League champions had been prepared to pay the £30million fee for the Dutch playmaker but Sir Alex Ferguson decided to pull his summer long chase when Sneijder demanded a private jet on retainer and for the club to buy his home in England.
Reports had also suggested that the 27-year old demanded £250,000 a week. But Sneijder has told people close to him that a move to Old Trafford could be resurrected in January. A source said:
“Wesley wanted to go to United and was in negotiations until quite late. They couldn’t agree terms but he is still saying he will end up at United.”
