REPORTS: Chelsea Will Launch January Bid For Cahill
Andre Villas-Boas will launch a raid for Arsenal and Tottenham target Gary Cahill in January, according to reports.
The Bolton defender was close to signing for Spurs on transfer deadline day but the clubs were unable to agree a fee for the centre half.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal wanted to sign Cahill during the summer but cooled their interest when Bolton slapped a £17million price tag to the England defender. The Gunners did have a bid rejected for Cahill, which was deemed derisory from Bolton so Arsene Wenger turned his attention to Per Mertesacker instead.
AVB wants Cahill to partner John Terry and will launch a bid in January according to The People newspaper.
