Liverpool are tracking FC Twente starlet Luuk de Jong and are lining up a move for the highly rated striker.
The 21-year old has caught the eye of Liverpool scouts who have been sent to Holland to identify potential future stars. Dutch sources believe Liverpool have had a presence at Twente games for the past month to see De Jong in action and have been suitably impressed by what they have seen.
Twente have slapped an £8million price tag on de Jong who has recently earned a call up to the national side, but the Reds will face stiff competition from Ajax who are also keen to sign the highly rated striker.
