Arsenal, Chelsea & Tottenham Target ‘Wont Be Leaving Until June’

Reported Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham target Josip Ilicic will not be leaving Palermo this January, according to Chairman Guglielmo Micciche.

The attacking midfielder has been linked with a move to the London trio  in recent days, while Serie A duo Juventus and Fiorentina have also been credited with interest and it was suggested Palermo had slapped a £30m price-tag on the players head.

However, Micciche has claimed the Slovenian will not be leaving during the January transfer window and will remain with Palermo until next summer, at least. He told tuttomercatoweb.com:

“I’ve read a lot about the future of Ilicic, but I can reiterate that the boy will stay with us, certainly till June,”

“He may appeal to many teams, I read about some English clubs, Juventus and Fiorentina, but no one came to ask about him. He’s a key element in Palermo and we have no intention to lose him.”
