The agent of Man Utd and Chelsea target Neven Subotic has insisted their has been no interest in his clients services from Italian side Roma.
Subotic has been strongly linked with both Man Utd and Chelsea in recent months as both clubs look to shore up leaky defences, and a move for the £20m rated stopper has been mooted. The 22-year-old has been a rock at the heart of Borussia Dortmund’s defence for the past 3 seasons and was a key memeber of last seasons title winning team.
His impressive form has not gone un-noticed and clubs from all over Europe have been monitoring his progress, with Roma the latest side to be linked with a January move. However, the players agent Stephen Kelly has squashed rumours of interest from Italy, boosting the Premier League duo’s chances of signing him:
“This news is new to me,” Kelly said.
“Roma had spoken in the past but at present there is nothing at all. Roma is not in the thoughts of Neven and we have not had relations with them. It is a story without foundation.”
