Porto striker Hulk has denied reports suggesting he has already agreed to join Chelsea, with the Brazilian insisting he hasn’t spoken to any club about a move
With the summer transfer window in full swing, Football Talk will be keeping you up-to-date with all the latest transfer news throughout the summer. Today, Hulk denies agreeing a move to Chelsea.
Porto striker Hulk has categorically denied reports suggesting he has already agreed to join Chelsea, according to talkSPORT.
The Brazilian hitman has been strongly linked with a move to the European champions this summer, with Chelsea thought to have already talked with the player and agreed personal terms. Reports had suggested that all that remained was for the two clubs to agree a fee and Hulk would be a Chelsea player.
However, the 25-year-old has hit back at those rumours insisting he hasn’t been in contact with anyone at Stamford Bridge or any other club. The striker reminded everyone that he still has a four-year contract with Porto and claims he’s only focused on playing at the Olympics with Brazil this summer.
“I have nothing signed with Chelsea or another club.
“I have signed four more years with Porto and now I’m just focused on my job with selection for the Olympic Games in London … I have not spoken to anyone.”

Football Talk Verdict
It’s no surprise to hear a player denying he’s been in talks with another club before a move is completed. Hulk wants to move to Chelsea, but is just covering his back in case the deal falls through and he’s stuck at Porto.
