Chelsea and Manchester United do battle at Stamford Bridge for the second time in four days in the Capital One Cup tonight.
United ran out 3-2 victors in a hugely controversial match on Sunday with Chelsea coming from 2-0 down to level at 2-2 before Branislav Ivanovic and Fernando Torres were both sent off for the home side. Javier Hernandez then grabbed the winner with his goal allowed to stand despite replay’s showing he was in an offside position.
Roberto Di Matteo has decided to start John Obi Mikel and Juan Mata, despite the pair being at the centre of a row with Sunday’s referee Mark Clattenburg. Daniel Sturridge starts up front with Victor Moses in support.
Sir Alex Ferguson has made eleven changes from weekend with youngsters Keane and Wootton joining summer signing Buttner in defence. Hernandez starts alongside Welbeck up front.
