Jose Mourinho is set to return to Chelsea this season and wants to bring Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo with him to Stamford Bridge, according to the Express.
Interim boss Rafa Benitez has previously admitted he won’t be staying on beyond the end of the season and the Express claim the Spaniard has told friends that Mourinho is in advanced talks to seal a deal that will see him return to the Blues hot-seat six years after being sacked by owner Roman Abramovich.
The report claims Mourinho’s days are numbered at the Bernabeu and he certain to leave Spain at the end of the season with Abramovich set to welcome him back to the Bridge with the promise of an open cheque book.
