Moroccan Midfielder Due At London Colney Today To Start Arsenal Trial
Morocco international midfielder El Jadeyaoui is due to arrive at Arsenal’s London Colney training base on Tuesday to begin a two-day trial with the club.
With the summer transfer window now open, there is plenty of gossip doing the rounds in the newspapers so we’ll keep you up-to-date with the latest transfer rumours. Today, Arsenal have offered a trial to a Moroccan midfielder.
Morocco international midfielder Alharbi El Jadeyaoui is due to arrive at Arsenal’s London Colney training base on Tuesday to undergo a two-day trial, according to French-based media outlet Quest-France.
El Jadeyaoui currently plays for French second division side Angers after making the move from Guingamp last summer and impressed during his 35 appearances last season, scoring four goals.
It seems he’s caught the eye of Arsene Wenger with reports coming out of France claiming that he was left on the bench for Angers’ 4-2 win at Istres at the weekend in preparation for him undergoing a trial at Arsenal.
Quest France suggest the 26-year-old travelled to London on Monday afternoon and is due to arrive at the clubs London Colney training base on Tuesday to start a two-day trial.
I must admit I don’t know too much about El Jadeyaoui other than he’s a left-footed attacker who can play anywhere across the midfield, and after representing France at Under-21 level he chose to represent Morocco at senior level.
It’s not clear whether a deal is in place to make the move permanent if the boss likes what he sees but El Jadeyaoui will join Atletico Nacional midfielder Sebastian Perez in being put through his paces, with the 18-year-old also on trial at the club this week.
