[Teams] Liverpool vs Stoke City: Confirmed Line-ups

Liverpool kick off the new 2013/14 Premier League season as they welcome Stoke City to Anfield on Saturday lunchtime.

The Reds pre-season preparations have been overshadowed by the future of Luis Suarez with the striker spending much of the summer pushing for a move, but with the Uruguayan still serving his 10-game ban Brendan Rodgers will be keen to focus on footballing matters today and start the new season on a positive note.

New signings Simon Mignolet, Kolo Toure and Iago Aspas all make their debuts today while Daniel Sturridge has been passed fit to start.
