Ozil, Wilshere & More Arsenal Players Take To Twitter After Marseille Win
Lukas Podolski, Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were all ‘Tweeting’ shortly after Arsenal beat Marseille, here’s what they had to say.
Arsenal got their 2013/14 Champions League campaign up and running with a hard fought 2-1 win away in Marseille on Wednesday night.
Theo Walcott had put the north London side ahead with a stunning volley before in-form midfielder Aaron Ramsey made it 2-0 with a fine strike from the edge of the box – which was his sixth goal in whats been a prolific season so far.
Marseille pulled one back at the death after being awarded a generous penalty but the Gunners held on to record a priceless away win and they now sit joint top of Group F with Napoli after the Italians beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in the groups other fixture.
