Arsenal v Chelsea: Date Set For Big League Cup Clash

Arsenal and Chelsea’s Capital One Cup fourth round clash has been scheduled to be played on Tuesday 29th October.

The Gunners crept into the fourth round on Wednesday night thanks to a dramatic penalty shoot-out win over West Brom after the game had ended 1-1 following 120 minutes of grueling football – Nacho Monreal was the hero scoring the decisive spot kick.

Chelsea’s progress was rather more straight forward as they eased past League Out side Swindon Town 2-0 on Tuesday thanks to goals from Fernando Torres and Ramires.

The two London giants were subsequently drawn to play each other in what is easily the tie of the round and will now do battle at the Emirates live on Sky Sports on Tuesday 29th October – kick-off at 7.45pm.

The game will begin a daunting two week fixture list for Arsenal that will see them play Chelsea, Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United in quick succession.
