Referees Announced For Weekend Fixtures: See Who’s In Charge Of Your Team’s Game

It was another enthralling weekend of Premier League action that saw upsets, comebacks and controversial refereeing decisions.

The Manchester clubs led the way with shock defeats to West Brom and Aston Villa, while Luis Suarez make an immediate impact on his return to league football, scoring a brace to help Liverpool move up to second in the table with a 3-1 win at Sunderland.

We also saw some fireworks at White Hart Lane where Fernando Torres was controversially sent off by referee Mike Dean for an aledged elbow on Jan Vertonghen as the two challenged for an aerial ball – with replays showing there was very little contact. However, Spurs fans will no doubt point to the fact the Spaniard was lucky to still be on the field after clawing at the face of Vertonghen earlier in the game.
