On the verge of Sunday’s huge fixture against Manchester United, Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic gave the public a glimpse into his playful personality when he surprised his teammate with an impromptu selfie at a book signing.
This past Friday evening, Ivanovic jumped into the queue with fellow Oscar admirers to have his personal copy of “Oscar’s Brazil,” signed. Naturally, Ivanovic didn’t need to queue up but took he took the opportunity of this special event at Stamford Bridge to support and surprise Oscar.
As he handed his personal copy of the book over, he snuck behind Oscar for a selfie-bomb on his smartphone. Ivanovic mission was a success as he pulled off a very and unsuspected memorable sneak attack on Oscar.

The pictures that were captured only go to show that the EPL’s table leaders are truly enjoying their success this season. With the undefeated Blues (7-1-0) taking care of business on the pitch, it’s nice to see Ivanovic’s fun natured relationship with Oscar in the shadows of Sunday’s monster matchup. Chelsea is living up to their preseason expectations to win the EPL and a win against Manchester United will only help them on their journey to win their first League title since 2009-10.
