[Teams] Stoke vs Man Utd: Confirmed Line-Ups

Manchester United will be looking to kick start the new year on a positive note when they take on Stoke City at the Britannia this afternoon.

Louis van Gaal has recalled Chris Smalling with the defender coming in for Paddy McNair alongside Phil Jones and Jonny Evans at centre-back.

Luke Shaw also comes back in to the starting eleven in place of Antonio Valencia with Ashley Young moving to the right. Radamel Falcao keeps his place in attack alongside Robin van Persie while Wayne Rooney once again starts in midfield with Michael Carrick.
