[Teams] Southampton vs Arsenal: Confirmed Line-Ups

Arsenal will be looking to start the New Year on a positive note when we take on Southampton at St Mary’s this afternoon.

Arsene Wenger has recalled Kieran Gibbs at left-back which means for the first time in over five months, we’ve got our first choice back four playing.

Calum Chambers surprisingly starts in midfield alongside Francis Coquelin while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky start in attack.

Alexis Sanchez leads the line with Olivier Giroud suspended and Danny Welbeck failing a late fitness test on a thigh injury. Lukas Podolski isn’t in the squad due to a groin problem.
