Rodgers Makes 3 Changes: Predicted Liverpool Line-Up To Face Crystal Palace

Steven Gerrard will be hoping to sign off on a positive note in his final game at Anfield when Liverpool take on Crystal Palace on Saturday evening.  Here is the side I think Brendan Rodgers will pick:

Goalkeeper: Simon Mignolet is almost certain to remain between the sticks this weekend.

Defence: Mamadou Sakho is back in full training after recovering from a hamstring injury but is unlikely to feature this weekend so Dejan Lovren should continue alongside Martin Skrtel at the back.

Alberto Moreno has fallen out-of-favour in recent weeks but I think he could get a recall in place of Glen Johnson on Saturday while Erme Can should keep his place at right-back.

Midfield: Steven Gerrard is expected to captain Liverpool for the final time at Anfield and it’s sure to be an emotional occasion for everyone associated with the club.

The Reds skipper should start alongside Jordan Henderson while Lucas Leiva could come back into the side to sit in the holding midfield position in front of the back four which would give Gerrard and Henderson more license to get forward.

Attack: Daniel Sturridge has been ruled out for at least four months so his season is over following hip surgery. Rickie Lambert has failed to make an impact after starting in the last two games so we could see Raheem Sterling played through the middle this weekend.

Philippe Coutinho could therefore play out on the left wing with Adam Lallana dropping out and Jordon Ibe may get a recall on the right after returning to full fitness after a spell on the sidelines.

Here is how I think we’ll see Liverpool line-up:

What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?
