Arsenal face a difficult task trying to keep their Champions League aspirations alive when Bayern Munich come to the Emirates on Tuesday night. Here, Gooner Mac will try to predict how the Germans will line-up:

Goalkeeper: There is little doubt that Manuel Neuer will start between the sticks tomorrow night. He’s arguably the best keeper on the planet so we’re going to have a tough time getting past him.

Defence: Pep Guardiola is expected to bring Philipp Lahm back in to defence with the skipper starting at right-back while David Alaba will continue at left-back. Jerome Boateng should once again be partnered by Juan Bernat in the centre as Mehdi Benatia remains sidelined through injury.

Midfield: Xabi Alonso will know all about Arsenal having played in the Premier League for five years with Liverpool and the Spaniard should be partnered by summer signing Arturo Vidal in the middle of the park with Thiago Alcantara sitting just in front.

Attack: Bayern have some injury problems to contend with in attack with three of their key men ruled out. Arjen Robben, Frank Ribery and Mario Gotze are all sidelined but Guardiola is still able to field a fearsome looking line-up.

Thomas Muller could play off the left wing with Douglas Costa starting on the right but the key threat we’ll have to look out for is the in-form Robert Lewandowski, who should spearhead the team up front.

Here is how I think we’ll see Arsenal line-up:
