[Teams] Man City vs Sunderland: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on December 26, 2015

Manchester City will look to get their title challenge back on track when they take on Sunderland at the Etihad Stadium this afternoon.

Manuel Pellegrini has decided to start Wilfried Bony ahead of Sergio Aguero up front as the Argentinean international is still lacking match fitness. Vincent Kompany is only deemed fit enough for a place on the bench as Mangala continues alongside Otamendi at the back.

Kevin De Bruyne is joined in attack by Raheem Sterling and David Silva while Yaya Toure plays alongside Fernandinho in midfield.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Man City

Hart, Sagna, Otamendi, Mangala, Kolarov, Fernandinho, Toure, De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling, Bony

Subs: Caballero, Kompany, Clichy, Demichelis, Navas, Delph, Aguero

Sunderland

Mannone, Jones, O’Shea, Coates, Van Aanholt, M’Vila, Gomez, Johnson, Borini, Graham, Fletcher

Subs: Pantilimon, Brown, Cattermole, Lens, Defoe, Toivonen.
