[Video Goals] Fiorentina 1-1 Tottenham: Spurs Held Thanks To Bernarderschi Stunner

Tottenham Hotspur will be confident of progressing to the last 16 of the Europa League after securing a very useful 1-1 draw away to Fiorentina on Thursday night.

The visitors took the lead shortly before half time when left-back Ben Davies was brought down in the penalty box. Nacer Chadli stepped up and cooly slotted home the resulting spot kick to make it 0-1 in the 37th minute.

Fiorentina levelled things up in spectacular style midway through the second half when Federico Bernarderschi slammed home a stunner from 25-yards to make it 1-1 in the 59th minute.

Neither side could force a winner so Spurs will be the happier of the two teams heading in to the second leg at White Hart Lane next week.
