Tottenham will look to book their place in the last-16 of the Europa League when they take on Fiorentina at White Hart Lane on Thursday night. Here is the side we think Mauricio Pochettino will select for the game:
Goalkeeper: Hugo Lloris returned to training today and has been declared fit and available for selection after recovering from a shoulder injury sustained against Manchester City earlier this month. Michel Vorm will therefore drop back to the bench.
Defence: Kyle Walker and Danny Rose are expected to get breathers with Ben Davies and Kieran Trippier coming back in to the starting eleven. With Jan Vertonghen still out with a serious knee injury, Kevin Wimmer should continue at the back and is expected to be joined by Toby Alderweireld after he was rested for the FA Cup defeat to Crystal Palace last Sunday.
Midfield: Mousa Dembele has been ruled out with a groin injury that he picked up against Palace and with Tom Carroll also ruled out with an Achilles injury, Ryan Mason could join Eric Dier in midfield tomorrow night.
Attack: Top scorer Harry Kane has been ruled out after suffering a broken nose at the weekend so Heung-min Son could lead the line up front with Christian Eriksen likely to get a recall in attack after being rested against Palace.
Erik Lamela has recovered from illness and should start on the right while Nacer Chadli could come in on the left with Dele Alli among those who’ll drop out.
Here is how I think we’ll see Spurs line-up:
What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?
