Klopp To Make 5 Changes: Predicted Liverpool Starting Line-Up vs Crystal Palace
Liverpool will be looking to continue their push for the top four when they take on Crystal Palace on Sunday. Here is the side I think Jurgen Klopp will pick.
Liverpool will be looking to continue their push for the top four when they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon. Here is the side I think Jurgen Klopp will pick.
Goalkeeper: Number one goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is once again expected to keep his place in goal.
Defence: Klopp has got plenty of options to choose form at the back now with Mamadou Sakho available again having missed the midweek win over Manchester City with a head injury. Kolo Toure and Dejan Lovren started in midweek but Klopp could mix things up and hand Martin Skrtel his first start in over two months after he recovered from a hamstring injury.
Alberto Moreno should come back in to the side after being rested on Wednesday night with Jon Flanagan unfortunate to drop out, while Nathaniel Clyne should keep his place at the back.
Midfield: Lucas Leiva has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a thigh injury that he suffered while taking a spot kick during the League Cup shoot-out loss to Man City last weekend. Joe Allen is available but I expect Klopp to once again stick with James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Emre Can in the middle of the park.
Attack: Daniel Sturridge is expected to get a recall after being given a breather in midweek after complaining of cramp following the Capital One Cup final. Roberto Firmino should keep his place after another impressive display against City while Philippe Coutinho should get a recall with Adam Lallana likely to drop out despite getting on the score sheet last time out.
Here is how I think we’ll see Liverpool line-up:
