Liverpool will look to bring home the trophy when they take on holders Sevilla in the final of the Europa League in Basel on Wednesday night. Here is the team we think Jurgen Klopp will select:
Goalkeeper: Simon Mignolet is set to be recalled to the starting eleven after being rested at the weekend with Adam Bogdan missing out.
Defence: Klopp will make wholesale changes to his side after resting his key men for Sunday’s 1-1 draw at West Brom meaning that Nathaniel Clyne, Dejan Lovren, Kolo Toure and Alberto Moreno will come back in to the defence.
Jon Flanagan, Lucas Leiva, Martin Skrtel and Brad Smith will drop out while Mamadou Sakho isn’t available due to his drugs ban.
Midfield: There will be changes in midfield too as Emre Can and James Milner will get recalls with Kevin Stewart and Joe Allen dropping out. Jordan Henderson is back in contention after playing the final thirty minutes at the Hawthorns having recovered from an ankle injury but the midfielder is expected to start on the bench tomorrow as he’s still not 100% match fit.
Attack: Roberto Firmino, Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho are set for recalls to the attack after being rested at the weekend while Daniel Sturridge will lead the line up front. Divock Origi could force his way on to the subs bench after returning to training following a month out with an ankle injury while Danny Ings will also be hoping to be involved after making his long-awaited comeback on Sunday.
Here is how I think we’ll see Liverpool line-up:
What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?
