Bournemouth vs Tottenham Preview, Team News, Line-Ups, Betting Tips & Prediction
Tottenham take on Bournemouth at Dean Court on Saturday lunchtime. Here’s a preview with team news, likely line-ups and predicted score for the game
Tottenham will be looking to get back to winning ways following two consecutive draws when they take on AFC Bournemouth at Dean Court on Saturday lunchtime.
Spurs needed a late strike from Dele Alli to salvage a 1-1 draw at West Bromwich Albion last weekend which maintained their unbeaten start to the new Premier League season.
However, the result saw them slip to third and behind Arsenal so Mauricio Pochettino will want to keep the pressure on and leapfrog their north London rivals with a win at Bournemouth tomorrow lunchtime.
Tottenham warmed up for the game with a hard fought 0-0 draw at Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Tuesday night and they could face an equally tough game this weekend as Bournemouth will be on a high following their 6-1 win over Hull last time out.
Team news
Spurs will be without Toby Alderweireld as he continues to nurse a knee injury that kept him out of the midweek draw in Germany but Pochettino is confident it’s not a serious issue.
Danny Rose will face a late fitness test on a bruised foot so Ben Davies is on stand by to step in for the England international at left-back while Kyle Walker should return after being rested in midweek.
Harry Kane has returned to full training after recovering form an ankle injury but this game will still come too soon for the striker.
Bournemouth will hand a late fitness test to Harry Arter after he picked up an injury against Hull last week and has been unable to train all week.
On loan Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere can expect a rough reception from the away supporters as he gets set to face their fierce rivals.
Likely Line-Ups
Predicted Score
Bournemouth 1-2 Tottenham: The Cherries have enjoyed a steady start to the season but have been particularly impressive at home as they’ve won their last three games at Dean Court. However, Spurs are looking strong this year and I think they’ll edge it to take all three points back to north London this weekend.
