Tottenham dropped two valuable points in the title race after being held to a 1-1 draw by defending champions Leicester City at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.
Spurs dominated the first half and eventually got the chance to make the breakthrough just before half time when Robert Huth was penalised for pulling on Vincent Janssen’s shirt in the area.
The Dutch international striker dusted himself off and made no mistake from the spot as he fired straight down the middle to score his first Premier League goal and make it 1-0 in the 44th minute.
However, Leicester equalised shortly after the break as a misplaced header from Victor Wanyama played in Jamie Vardy and the England international cut it back for Musa who finished at the far post to make it 1-1.
Tottenham continued to push and Jan Vertonghen came close to winning it late on after crashing a long-range effort off the bar but the Foxes held on to secure a point.
The result sees Spurs move up to fourth but they are now three points adrift of leaders Manchester City after 10 games.
