Harry Kane scored twice during the final few minutes to secure a dramatic turn-around with Tottenham beating West Ham 3-2 at White Hart Lane on Saturday evening.
The Hammers opened the scoring midway through the first half when Michail Antonio headed home from close range after Kouyate had hit the bar following a 24th minute corner.
Spurs levelled with Harry Winks firing home the rebound after Vincent Janssen had seen his effort saved before West Ham retook the lead from the penalty spot in the 68th minute after Janssen fouled Reid in the area. Lanzini made no mistake to make it 1-2.
However, there was still plenty of late drama as Kane slotted home from close range following a Hueng-min Son cross in the 89th minute before Harvard Nordveit was adjudged to have clipped Son in the box.
Kane stepped up and converted the penalty to complete a dramatic turn around and secure Tottenham a vital 3-2 win which sees them close the gap on fourth-placed Arsenal to just one point.
