Tottenham Team News: Pochettino Confirms Trio Will Miss Burnley Clash
Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed Tottenham will be without three players for their Premier League clash with Burnley on Sunday
Tottenham Hotspur will look to bounce back from their defeat to Chelsea last weekend when they take on Burnley at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
Ahead of the game, Mauricio Pochettino has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this afternoon and he’s given a team news and injury update.
The Spurs boss confirmed that the club have no fresh injury concerns but they’ll continue to be without three players with Danny Rose, Erik Lamela and George-Kevin N’Koudou all out.
Rose has been out since way back in January due to a serious knee ligament injury that he suffered last season and Pochettino says the left-back is still a few weeks away from returning to training.
Lamela has also been on the sidelines for the long-term due to an on-going hip problem dating back to October 2016 but the Argentinean international has now stepped-up his comeback after starting outdoor work.
N’Koudou is the final player who’ll be unavailable for selection against Burnley this weekend as the young attacker is still nursing a foot injury – although he is due to resume training after the upcoming international break.
Here is what Pochettino told reporters today:

Spurs head in to the weekend action sitting on three points following last weeks 2-1 defeat at home to Chelsea so no doubt Pochettino will be desperate to get back on track with a win over Burnley on Sunday.
