[Tweets] Valencia’s Wonder Goal Praised As Man Utd Stars Celebrate Everton Win

Some of the Manchester United players have been reacting online after they continued their fine start to the new season with a 4-0 win over Everton at Old Trafford yesterday.

United came flying out the blocks and opened the scoring early on as Antonio Valencia lashed home a stunning strike from the edge of the area to make it 1-0 in just the 4th minute.

Everton had chances to level things up but United doubled their lead when Henrikh Mkhitaryan capatalised on a defensive error to make it 2-0 in the 83rd minute before Romelu Lukaku scored against his former club for 3-0 shortly after.


The Red Devils wrapped-up another impressive win when Anthony Martial scored from the penalty spot to ensure United sit level on points and goal difference with Manchester City at the top of the table [watch all the goals from the game here].

Ashley Young has now taken to Twitter to praise Valencia’s wonder goal while Eric Bailly also congratulated the right-back on scoring the stunning effort yesterday.

Valencia himself seemed pretty pleased with his goal as he uploaded a video of the strike to his official Twitter account along with another Tweet thanking god for the goal.

David De Gea, Ander Herrera and Mkhitaryan have also posted messages on the microblogging site as the United players celebrated another important victory on Sunday afternoon.
