Tottenham will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they take on West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday.

Ahead of the game, Mauricio Pochettino has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this afternoon and he’s provided a team news and injury update.

The Spurs boss has confirmed once again that three of his key first team players are missing with Danny Rose, Erik Lamela and Victor Wanyama all still sidelined through injury.

Rose has been out of action since suffering ankle ligament damage way back in January of last season and the full-back is still working his way back to full fitness.

Lamela hasn’t played for 11 months due to a troublesome hip injury and the Argentinean international is still no closer to making his long-awaited return to the first team fold.

Wanyama hasn’t played in any of Tottenham’s last five games after suffering a knee injury late last month and the Kenyan international will still be unavailable for selection this weekend.

However, there was more positive news on the fitness of Ben Davies as Pochettino has revealed that the defender is ready to start against West Ham on Saturday.

Davies hasn’t featured in the last two games against Swansea or Barnsley due to an ankle injury but it looks like he’s now back in contention for the trip across London.

Poch told reporters:

Tottenham head into the weekend action after booking their place in the League Cup fourth round with a narrow 1-0 win over Barnsley but they were held to a 0-0 draw by Swansea last weekend so no doubt Pochettino will be desperate to come away with all three points at West Ham.
