Euro Giants Ready To Sell Super-Star To Man Utd In £89m Deal
Real Madrid are ready to cash-in on Gareth Bale and sell the Welsh international attacker to Manchester United in a mega £89m deal, according to reports
The transfer window may be closed but clubs are still working hard ahead of January and next summer so we’ll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. Today, Gareth Bale is linked with Man Utd….
Real Madrid are ready to cash-in on Gareth Bale and sell the Welsh international attacker to Manchester United in a mega £89m deal, according to a report in the Mirror.
Bale came through the youth ranks at Southampton before making his name at Tottenham Hotspur but has developed in to one of the best attackers in the world since joining Madrid in 2013.
The 28-year-old has provided 70 goals and 55 assists in his 159 appearances for the Spanish giants to help them win three Champions League’s and a La Liga title over the past four years.
However, the Welshman’s future at the Bernabeu has been cast in doubt as widespread reports throughout the summer suggested Madrid were considering cashing-in due to his recent injury problems.
Bale endured a frustrating campaign last season with various injuries restricting him to just 26 starts and he’s seen his place come under pressure from the likes of Isco and Marco Asensio.
The former Spurs star ended up staying in the summer but the Mirror are citing a report from El Confidencial that claims Madrid are now ready to sell and will offer United the chance to snap him up.
The Spanish publication says Madrid want to recoup the money they paid Tottenham – which equates to £89.3m – and Jose Mourinho is believed to be keen to lure Bale to Old Trafford.
It’s not made clear in the report whether this proposed deal would take place in January or wait until the end of the season but obviously Bale would be an exciting addition if United do end up signing him.

Despite his injury woes, Bale is still one of the best attackers in the world and I think he’d be a huge hit at United if he did come back to the Premier League as long as he could stay fit.
