[Video Goals] Tottenham 3-0 APOEL: Llorente Breaks Duck As Spurs Sink Nicosia

Fernando Llorente was on target as Tottenham wrapped-up their Champions League group stage campaign with a 3-0 victory over APOEL Nicosia this evening.

Spurs started well and opened the scoring in the 20th minute as Llorente scored from close range to break his duck and net his first goal since joining Tottenham in the summer.

The north Londoners doubled their advantage before half time as Hueng-min Son curled home a superb strike from the edge of the area after playing a one-two with Llorente.

Tottenham had plenty of chances to extend their lead after the break but finally made it 3-0 late on as Georges-Kevin NKoudou’s deflected effort found the back of the net in the 79th minute.

The result means Tottenham finish with 16 points in Group H – three points clear of Real Madrid after they beat Borussia Dortmund in tonight’s other group.
