The summer transfer window is open and managers are working hard on their transfer targets so we’ll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. Today, Tottenham steal a march on Liverpool and Man Utd…
Tottenham have stolen a march on Liverpool and Manchester United by submitting a £44m bid to sign Borussia Dortmund attacker Christian Pulisic, according to reports in Germany via TeamTalk.
Pulisic has developed in to one of the hottest talents in world football since joining Dortmund from PA Classics in 2015 and he provided 5 goals and 7 assists in his 42 appearances last season to help secure a top four finish in the Bundesliga table.
The 19-year-old is now an established part of the first team at the Westfalonstadion and he’s also seen as the future of the United States national team having scored 9 goals in his 21 caps since making his senior debut in March 2016.
Pulisic’s potential has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs with TeamTalk claiming that Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham are among the teams to have registered their interest while the Telegraph reported earlier in the summer that a number of English teams were eyeing the American star.
Jurgen Klopp knows Pulisic well from his time at Dortmund and the Liverpool boss could turn his attention to the teenager after seeing a proposed deal to sign Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir collapse last month.
Jose Mourinho is also expected to further strengthen his squad this summer as he looks to build a side capable of challenging Manchester City next season and Pulisic could be viewed as a potential replacement for Anthony Martial – who’s been linked with a move this summer.
However, it seems Liverpool and United have some catching up to do as TeamTalk are citing a report from Kicker that claims Tottenham have stolen a march on their rivals after submitting an opening £44m bid for Pulisic’s signature.

Mauricio Pochettino is set to splash the cash after signing a new long-term contract at Spurs and Pulisic could be the type of player that would turn Tottenham in to genuine title contenders next year.
We’ll have to wait and see how things develop over the coming weeks but Pulisic would be an excellent signing if either Spurs, Liverpool or United could snap him up this summer.
