Manchester United will look to boost their top four hopes with a win over Watford at Old Trafford this afternoon.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been boosted by the news that Luke Shaw is fit to start at left-back after shaking off a knock that forced him to withdraw from the England squad last week. Ashley Young returns from suspension to start at right-back with Diogo Dalot dropping to the bench.

Phil Jones is recalled to start alongside Chris Smalling with Victor Lindelof missing out while Nemanja Matic is passed fit to start alongside Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera in midfield after recovering from injury.

Marcus Rashford is also fit to start up front after overcoming an ankle injury while Romelu Lukaku is only deemed fit enough for a place on the bench after recovering from a foot problem. Anthony Martial starts in attack after being passed fit following a knock that kept him out of the French squad.

Jesse Lingard is only named on the bench so Juan Mata joins Martial and Rashford in attack. Fred and Andreas Pereira are named among the substitutes.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Man Utd

De Gea, Young, Jones, Smalling, Shaw, Herrera, Matic, Pogba, Mata, Rashford, Martial

Watford
