Arsenal will be looking to end the Premier League season on a high when they take on Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners all but blew their hopes of finishing in the top four after drawing 1-1 with Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend as it’s left us sitting three points behind Tottenham with a minus 8 goal difference.

It means we need to thrash Burnley tomorrow and hope Everton beat Spurs at their new stadium with an eight-goal swing across the two games. It’s not impossible but it’s highly unlikely so it looks like we’ve missed out on the top four for another season.

Thankfully we could still end the season with silverware and Champions League football to look forward to next season as we booked our place in the final of the Europa League with an impressive 7-3 aggregate win over Valencia.

Arsenal will now face Chelsea in the final later this month and if we beat our London rivals in Baku we’ll end our long wait for a European trophy and secure qualification to the Champions League next year.

Team news

Arsenal will once again be without Aaron Ramsey as he’s still nursing a hamstring injury while Denis Suarez is also out with a groin problem so they remain on the sidelines along with long term absentees Danny Welbeck, Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding.

Emery may decide to freshen things up with the likes of Shkodran Mustafi, Matteo Guendouzi, Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan pushing for recalls while Ainsley Maitland-Niles is available again after missing the draw with Brighton through suspension.

Burnley will hand a late fitness test to James Tarkowski but Phil Bardsley is available again while Aaron Lennon remains out with a knee injury.

Predicted score

Burnley 1-2 Arsenal: Burnley away is never an easy game but Arsenal have dealt with them well recently as we’ve won our last nine meetings in all competitions. We’ve only kept one clean sheet away from home all season so no doubt we’ll gift them a goal but I’m confident we’ll have enough going forward to take home all three points.

Arsenal are the 2.17 favourites to win the game with Mustardbet and our prediction of 2-1 can be backed at odds of 8.72.
