Man City breezed past FC Porto and into the last 16 of the Europa League after a 4-0 victory at the Etihad Stadium tonight. The home side made a flying start and took the lead after just 20 seconds, Sergio Aguero bursting though and cooly slotting home for 1-0. The goal meant City were 3-1 up on aggregate, leaving Porto needing two goals to force extra time.
However, no further goals were scored until the 76th minute when sub Dzeko put the tie beyond doubt before a late double from Silva and Pizarro made it 4-0 to City on the night, and 6-1 on aggregate. Watch video highlights here:
