Liverpool put in an excellent second half display to see off a spirited Wigan side 3-0 thanks to a classy double from Luis Suarez.
After a frustrating first half the game sprang to life when Suarez fired home shortly after the break and made it 2-0 less than 10 minutes later with a fine finish. Spaniard Jose Enrique then sealed the three points when he scored his first Liverpool goal on 65 minutes after some good work from Sterling.
