Tottenham’s Gareth Bale was in action for his country on Tuesday night and scored as Wales lost 2-1 to Croatia in their World Cup Group A qualifier.
Bale opened the scoring from the spot in the 21st minute, firing straight down the middle to give the home side a valuable lead. However, the visitors drew level in the 77th minute when Lovren fired home from long range before former Arsenal striker Eduardo smashed home the winner in the 87th minute.
