Arsenal beat Swansea City 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday evening thanks to second half goals from young German Serge Gnabry and the in-form Aaron Ramsey.
The victory – Arsenal’s 8th in a row away from home in the Premier League – saw the north Londoners move two points clear of Tottenham at the top of the league.
After the game several Arsenal players took to Twitter to express their delight at the result, with some congratulating teenager Gnabry on his first senior goal for the club, Jack Wilshere thanked the away fans for their ‘amazing’ support while new signing Mesut Ozil said he was ‘overhappy’ with the three points.
