Ahead of the game, boss Tim Sherwood has been speaking at his weekly press conference and has given the latest team news including an update on the fitness of Emmanuel Adebayor, Andros Townsend, Sandro, Jermain Defoe, Lewis Holtby and Younes Kaboul.
Adebayor was forced off against Manchester United on Wednesday but Sherwood has confirmed the striker was just suffering from cramp and is fit to face his former side tomorrow.
Winger Townsend is back in training after missing the clubs last four games with a hamstring injury, while midfielder Holtby is also back on the training pitch after picking up a minor knee problem on Boxing Day.
There is also further good news on the injury front with with Defoe training again following a hamstring strain that’s seen him miss Tottenham’s last three matches, while long-term injury victims Sandro and Kaboul will be back in full training next week.
However, Erik Lamela (thigh), Kyle Naughton (ankle, hamstring), Paulinho (ankle), Gylfi Sigurdsson (calf) and Jan Vertongehn (ankle) all remain out.
