Predicted Tottenham Starting XI To Face Swansea – Sandro To Start

Tottenham Hotspur will be in Wales to take on Swansea City on Sunday afternoon looking to move in on the top four of the Premier League.

Paulinho is out of the game as he remains on the sidelines with an ankle injury but boss Tim Sherwood confirmed at his press conference earlier today that Sandro is back in contention after training fully this week.

The Brazilian is therefore expected to be recalled to the starting eleven this weekend with youngster Nabil Bentaleb the most likely to drop out.

Jan Vertonghen and Younes Kaboul are also back in training this week but the Swansea game will come too soon for them, meaning Michael Dawson will continue his partnership with Vlad Chiriches at the back.

Andros Townsend is also pushing for a recall but may have to make do with a place on the bench with Sherwood likely to stick with the majority of the side that’s served him well in recent weeks. Emanuelle Adebayor and Roberto Soldado should continue up front.
