[Teams] Man City vs Tottenham: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on October 18, 2014

Premier League action returns this weekend as Manchester City entertain Tottenham at the Etihad in Saturday’s lunchtime kick off.

City head into the game five points adrift of league leaders Chelsea while Spurs are level on points in fourth place, so both sides will be hoping for a positive result to keep pace at the top of the league.

Manuel Pellegrini has decided to rest Yaya Toure meaning Frank Lampard starts in midfield alongside Fernando. Jesus Navas starts in attack with Eden Dzeko on the bench.

As for Tottenham, Hugo Lloris has been passed fit to start after picking up a knock while away with France but Emmanuel Adebayor is only named on the bench after arriving back late from international duty with Togo.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Man City

Hart, Clichy, Demichelis, Kompany, Sagna, Milner, Lampard, Fernando, Navas, Silva, Aguero
