Liverpool have joined Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain in showing an interest in signing Chelsea attacker Oscar this summer, according to reports.
Oscar has been at Stamford Bridge since moving to the club from Internacional in 2012 and has been a regular in the Blues starting eleven over the past three seasons.
However, the 23-year-old has struggled for form in recent months which has led to criticism from boss Jose Mourinho, and now are even questioning his future in West London.
Chelsea are well on course to reclaiming the Premier League title this season but Mourinho is expected to strengthen his squad this summer after crashing out of the Champions League to PSG.
The Portuguese boss will need to sell one of his high profile players in order to balance the books and Oscar has been suggested as the player most likely to make-way.
Understandably, there is no shortage of interest with Juventus reportedly keen and Brazil boss Carlos Dunga recently urged the Serie A champions to try and buy the playmaker:
‘He reminds me of Roberto Baggio. Oscar has technique, reads situations well and is a modern and versatile trequartista. He reminds me of Roberto Baggio, but also has similarities to Massimiliano Allegri.
‘Brazilians like to have fun with their football, which hasn’t happened to Oscar very much recently, but I met Jose Mourinho and he spoke highly of all his Brazilian players.
‘I tell Allegri that Oscar is strong and also a good lad. A forward line with him, Carlos Tevez and Alvaro Morata would drive any Coach crazy.
‘It wouldn’t be a step backwards for Oscar to go to Juventus. He’d be decisive in Serie A and whether he plays for Juventus or Chelsea it’ll always be a great club.’ Dunga is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail
However, it looks like Juve may face some stiff competition as the Daily Mail are claiming today that Liverpool have joined the race for Oscar’s signature and are watching developments closely.
The newspaper suggests that Chelsea would demand a fee well in excess of the £19.35m they paid for Oscar three years ago but it would certainly be an audacious move if Liverpool were to try and lure the Brazilian away from Stamford Bridge this summer.
Brendan Rodgers side are still fighting hard to qualify for the Champions League but I doubt Oscar would agree to move to Anfield if they miss out on a top four finish this season.

Even if he was open to the move, would Chelsea be prepared to sell him to a direct rival? You’d assume they would try and sell him abroad but Liverpool will be buoyed by the fact that Mourinho sold Juan Mata to Man Utd so he may be open to doing business with the Merseysiders.
We’ll have to see how things develop over the coming months but I’d personally be hugely surprised if Oscar ended up moving to Liverpool this summer.
