Arsenal vs Chelsea Preview, Team News, Line-Ups, Betting Tips & Predicted Score
Arsenal entertain Chelsea at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon. Here’s a preview with team news, likely line-ups, betting tips and predicted score
Arsenal will look to reclaim their place at the top of the Premier League when they take on Chelsea at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners slipped three points off the lead after seeing Leicester City beat Stoke earlier today but the North Londoners can move back to the top of the table on goal difference with a win tomorrow.
Arsene Wenger will be desperate to get his side back to winning ways after being held to consecutive draws at Liverpool and Stoke and they may not have a better chance of ending their poor run against Chelsea, which has seen them go over eight hours without scoring against the Blues.
The defending champions arrive at the Emirates off the back of their worst start to a season in Premier League history which led to the dismissal of Jose Mourinho as manager lack month.
Guus Hiddink has steadied the ship since his arrival as interim boss, but the West Londoners still sit fourteenth in the table following last weeks 3-3 draw with Everton so they’ll be desperate to come away with a positive result tomorrow afternoon.

Team news
The Gunners are set to welcome back Mesut Ozil to the starting eleven after the German international missed last weeks draw at Stoke with a minor foot injury.
Alexis Sanchez is also expected to be back in the frame after finally overcoming a niggling hamstring injury which has kept him sidelined for over eight weeks.
Francis Coquelin is back in full training after recovering from a knee injury but isn’t under consideration for a first team place just yet while Mohamed Elneny is pushing to make his debut in midfield.
Danny Welbeck is due to resume full training next week but remains on the sidelines along with Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla while Tomas Rosicky stepped-up his comeback with a run-out for the under-21’s on Friday.
Chelsea have been handed a double boost with Eden Hazard passed fit to return after missing the last three games with a groin injury while Diego Costa is also available despite being forced off with a shin problem against Everton last weekend.
However, Radamel Falcao remains sidelined with the Colombian international still nursing a thigh injury.
Likely Line-ups
Predicted Score
Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea: I fancy Arsenal to edge this one tomorrow. They’re in much better form than Chelsea and the Blues just aren’t the formidable side they were last season, so I can see the hosts winning this 2-1.
Betting Tips
The Gunners are the 11/10 favourites to win the game but Football-Talk can get you enhanced odds of 5/1 on a home win or 12/1 on a Chelsea win – just click here to take advantage of these crazy odds. My prediction of 2-1 is on offer at 8/1 while I also like the look of Olivier Giroud to open the scoring at 5/1. If you combined those two bets in a score-cast then we get very tempting odds of 25/1.
