Tottenham Team News: Pochettino Confirms Duo Will Miss Liverpool Game
Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that two key players will miss this weekend’s Premier League clash with Liverpool at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham Hotspur will look to build on last weeks defeat win over Crystal Palace when they take on Liverpool at White Hart Lane on Saturday lunchtime.
Ahead of the game, Mauricio Pochettino has been speaking to the media at his pre-match press conference this morning and he’s given TottenhamHotspur.com a team news and injury update.
The Spurs boss confirmed that number one goalkeeper Hugo Lloris remains on the sidelines with a hamstring injury that he suffered during the opening weekend draw with Everton at Goodison Park.
Lloris is hoping to be available for selection after the upcoming international break but Michel Vorm will once again deputise between the sticks against Liverpool this weekend.
Tottenham have no fresh injury worries to contend with but influential midfielder Mousa Dembele serves the fifth of his six-match suspension which was carried over from last season.
Dembele was involved in an ugly altercation with Diego Costa during Tottenham defeat at Stamford Bridge towards the end of the campaign so will once again miss out as the north Londoners welcome Liverpool to White Hart Lane on Saturday.

Spurs head in to the weekend action sitting seventh in the Premier League table after collecting four points from their opening two fixtures so they’ll be hoping to secure another positive result this weekend.
